About Unplugged Kentucky
I'm a Kentucky native and an experienced host who has spent nearly a decade welcoming guests. I created Unplugged Kentucky with a simple idea: to offer something more than just another place to stay.
From peaceful cabins tucked away in the hills of Eastern Kentucky to our spacious vacation home in Louisville, we offer places where families, couples, and friends can relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories.
But there's something special happening in our little corner of the Eastern Kentucky holler.
We're building a collection of one-of-a-kind cabins, each with its own personality, atmosphere, and story. Our future additions include
The Poe, a mysterious retreat inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, and
The Squatch Den, a playful hideaway inspired by the legendary Bigfoot stories of Appalachia.
Our vision isn't about building the biggest cabins or the fanciest resorts. It's about creating memorable experiences, places that spark curiosity, invite exploration, and give our guests stories worth sharing long after their stay.
And while our Eastern Kentucky cabins celebrate the beauty, folklore, and mystery of the Appalachian Mountains, our Louisville vacation home offers a different kind of getaway: a comfortable, convenient home base for exploring the city, attending events, or spending time with family and friends.
As your host, I'm nearby when you need assistance, but I also believe a great getaway means having the privacy and freedom to enjoy your time away.
Whether you're exploring Red River Gorge, discovering Louisville, or simply escaping the everyday, we hope your stay becomes part of a story you'll remember.
